We’re happy to provide on-site work for your small tooling repairs like Jig Nursing where moving equipment doesn’t make sense. Although we specialise in unique, bespoke pieces, we do have the capacity for small batch work.

We love R&D

Cyril Minns is often called upon to work with start-ups in facilitating their R&D with test pieces and proof of concept work.

We have unique perspectives on engineering problems, for example we’ve worked on well-known commercial aircraft to develop unique tooling to quickly extract troublesome parts from landing gear, correct, segment and reinsert them.

Engineering Heritage insight

At Cyril Minns we have a tradition of handing down knowledge through our long running apprenticing scheme. As a result, Cyril Minns holds a great wealth of machining knowledge within the business and it gives us a unique perspective on heritage engineering projects. We’ve built spare parts for Britain’s remaining working steam ships, museum piece lunar module components and Concorde parts for heritage display.
